This month sees us launching our club for 7-11 year-olds called CrayZkidz on Sunday afternoons. Our team are undergoing some training for a start on November 9th Also on Sunday 2nd we are holding our Community Autumn Festival in the Rookery Gardens with some special activities for families and kids On Sunday 9th in the morning service we are doing something we have never done before. Instead of a live speaker we showing a dvd of a recent conference some of us went to with a pastor called Craig Groeschel speaking on "It: How leaders can get It and keep It" . We will then be discussing the session in our evening meeting On Sunday 16th we welcome the return of Pastor Suzanne Griffiths from the City Praise Centre which is probably the biggest church in Gravesend Then on the morning of the 30th we will not be at the Duke as we will be joining up with the Eltham Green Community Church for a joint service and will be celebrating dedicating baby Alwyn Wakeford. We also continue our autumn home groups where we are looking together at the wisdom of the book Proverbs shows us. The River Church (formerly called Ramsden Family Church,) is a group of people who seek to live and speak of Jesus Christ in the midst of St Mary Cray near Orpington, Kent. We moved to the Duke Youth Centre for our Sunday morning worship from 6th April because we believe God led us to move back into this area. There are also more facilities for children's work. We believe that our three fold aims are to: Build Faith, Create Friendship and Have Fun why not look at our calendar and come and meet us!
